12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Beach 67th Street, Queens, NY, 11692 United States (map)

Keep the beach clean and celebrate 50 years of the Endangered Species Act with our friends of the @nycploverproject. We’ll be collecting debris and addressing our local endangered species, the Piping Plover!

We will use our findings to make surfboard sculptures and hand planes for our ongoing art project ‘Staying Afloat’ with the Buena Onda Collective // @buenaondacollective.

We will be meeting on the beach at Beach 67th in Far Rockaway. Look for our Sun Bum tent!

Water, snacks, bags, and gloves will be provided, but we strongly encourage you to bring your own water bottles/cups to help reduce our carbon footprint!

Our clean-up will be focused on the beach, boardwalk, surrounding streets (B 62nd, B 67th, B 69th, B 73rd, etc.) and sidewalks.
