Join us to celebrate the culmination of our 2025 Surf Media Program! Our talented cohort of Rockaway youth photographers are ready to unveil their perspectives on surf culture. From November to February, this year’s media mentorship cohort took to Rockaway’s frigid winter waters to begin telling their stories through capturing breathtaking in-water and on land imagery. On March 15 the media mentorship will release the zine “Lígemeri Barana” and showcase their work in an exhibition at the Arverne East Nature Preserve.
